The High Road Or The Low Road?

I was watching tv and the subject came up about the high road and the low road. The woman was pushing the man to take the high road. The man explained what the high road was and that it wasn't good for people. He said that on the high road, everyone is a two-face with bottled up anger which will explode one way or another and that it is for liars. He says that the low road is better. Even though on the low road everyone is honking their horns, cursing, and giving eachother the finger, it is still better because honesty is always the best policy.

I don't like either one of these roads. They are both ugly. I do believe that I should be honest but, I don't think I can do anything about the actions of others without taking the low road. I do believe that I can accept other people's honesty without cursing and giving the finger. It is my goal to stay off of these roads and try to walk that narrow way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

If God Is So Good, Why Is The World So Bad?

It has come to my attention that many people have this question. It has also come to my attention that many Christians do not know how to give a biblical answer to this question. Although Neil didn't word it the way I did, he pretty much asked the same question in his post. Stephen attempts to answer this question in his post but, does not offer any biblical support. Maybe, if more Christians were able to give a biblical answer to this question, there might just be a few less atheists in the world.

I have written a study that gives a biblical answer to this question. I would encourage Christians and non-Christians alike to read this study. It is called, "Origin of Sin".

My Own Benefit

There was a man whose kids found a dog and wanted to keep it. The man decided that he would look for the owner and if the owner couldn't be found, then he would let his kids keep the dog. They were unable to find the owner and so he let his kids keep the dog. Years went by and the dog got old and started to get sick. The man explained to his kids that the dog was old and would probably not get better. He suggested to his kids that the dog isn't happy and maybe they should put the dog to sleep so that he doesn't suffer anymore. The oldest son went and got a gun and, as an act of love, killed his dog, putting him out of his misery.

(Contrary to popular belief, I believe that when people go to hell, they will burn up and die. I will be working on a study that will give biblical support my belief.)

As sinners, we are not happy. If I didn't make it to heaven and had to go to hell, I could accept that. I know that if I don't make it to heaven it is because I wouldn't be happy in heaven. Would I be happy in hell? Of course not but, I wouldn't be there for very long because I will burn up and die. Now I don't want to burn up and die either but, I would rather do that than spend eternity in a place where I am not happy. So, as an act of love, God will allow us to die, putting us out of our misery. Whether I go to heaven or hell, it is for my own benefit.

I was on the phone with Rosa again and I had explained this to her. She told me that I have a beautiful picture of God. I have published a bible study online that gives an overview of what the bible is about. In it, you get a picture of how much God really loves us. It is called, "The Great Chase". If you show this to anyone, tell them to enter their real name otherwise, they might be disappointed.

My Enlightening Thoughts

Sometimes I would be in the middle of something and a light would go off in my head giving me a better understanding of things or an idea of what I should do. I was on the phone with Rosa and I had asked her if she ever had any enlightening thoughts. She asked me what I meant by it and so I gave her an example of one of mine. She asked me to tell me about another one but, I couldn't remember any. It was then when I had another enlighening thought. I should write them down. Here are my enlightening thoughts:
